Harlingen HS Students from Harlingen CISD High Schools, Community Professionals Volunteers (Mentors) and parents met during their Meet & Greet Event for Spring 2013 kick-off Community- Based Mentoring Program. All the Protégés had the opportunity to meet their mentor, ask questions and learn about their mentor's careers & professional experiences.

It's Party time! Cupcake Easter Event

RGV Mentors hosted their first Cupcake Easter decorating class for all Mentors and Protégés. Everyone had the opportunity to learn, decorate and of course eat delicious cupcakes.

The School- Based Component helps students on finding their passion, career search, college search as well as getting information on scholarships. Our TSTC College Mentors have done a fantastic job guiding and advising our high school students to make better choices in their current high school years.

got together this past Saturday to raise funds for RGV Mentors Program and RGV Mentors’ Scholarships. The Mentors and the Protégés competed in a mini tournament and enjoyed the games. We thank our Sponsors, Mentors, Protégés, Parents and members from our community for participating in our fundraiser event.

Last Wednesday May 22, 2013 RGV Mentors Successfully concluded its third segment. Protégés from Harlingen CISD High Schools, PSJA Thomas T-Stem Early College High School, Brownsville CISD, Community Mentors & School Counselors received their recognition Award for their participation and successful completion of our School-Based and Community Based Component. In addition to that, RGV Mentors awarded its first two Scholarships to two of their students, Lindsay Longoria (Harlingen High School Protégé) in the amount of $1000.00 and Cristian Martinez (TSTC Mentor) in the amount of $500.00. Thanks to everyone who participated and made our third year a triumphant segment
2nd Annual Kickball Fundraiser 2014
Thank you to everyone who came to support our students today at our 2nd annual kickball RGV Mentors fundraiser on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Kudos to all the volunteers who came to helped with this event. We had a lot of fun besides the weather conditions and are very thankful for all the donations received for the RGV Mentors scholarship. THANK YOU
